My experience in medicine, along with the time I devote to every patient, allows me to give each patient the personal attention they deserve. Simultaneously, I make an effort to utilize all available modern information and technical tools. Boston Heart lab is my choice for diagnostic blood testing that goes beyond the typical cholesterol panel and can uncover potential risks for heart disease and stroke. My office is equipped with bedside ultrasound and electrocardiogram tools.
Since I started my practice 40 years ago, I have been a solo practitioner without any affiliation with a larger group practice. As a medical professional, I am passionate about helping people navigate a complex healthcare system. The majority of my patients are older and require more assistance with complex health issues. Some of the centers I've referred to include Stanford Medical Center, UCSF Medical Center, El Camino Hospital, or even distant centers such as the University of Nebraska Medical Center or one of the Mayo Clinics. I am not affiliated with any medical group or organization. Over the years, I have worked with some of the best specialists in the field.

The treatment modalities in my practice include but are not limited to: acupuncture, acupuncture with E-Stimulation, Laser acupuncture (Blue or Red), cupping, Gua Sha, therapeutic massage, Chinese herbs, etc.
I received a Ph.D. in Chinese medicine after 11 years of full-time education and training at Hebei Medical University and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and their affiliated hospitals, and accomplished my postdoctoral research project sponsored by China Postdoctoral Scientific Foundation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a university in China. With 30+ years of professional experience in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, I published 36 peer-reviewed journal papers & 24 books on Acupuncture, Gynecology, Mental & Emotional Disorders, philosophy of Chinese Medicine, etc.
I have been working in the field of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine for over 30 years. Formerly I was a Professor and Graduate Advisor at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a leading TCM university in the world. My family and I received the Green Cards based on the approval of my I 140 eb1a, Alien of Extraordinary Ability. I am currently Professor of Five Branches University, and started my own business Research-Based Acupuncture in 2017.
